TAI CHI: practical Skills given physical Form.
In beginning… it just takes a step. Self-health flows from it, which also is self-defence.

It is the re-finding of balance – the lovely balance – of a well body and clear mind, together in nature. It can be an exhilarating discovery… and it is for us all.

Play… Follow…

Deepen into it, for TAI CHI has immanence of  ‘old knowledge’, even ‘old power’. It reaches us misted in legend, embodying a wisdom tradition unbroken since antiquity. It is called subtle, internal, spirit-moving… And its very enduring tells us that these are ways deserving of our proper study.

And so it comes to us and our generation, and with it this teasing paradox, for it seems that we learn to answer the question: “…but what is Tai Chi?” by its practice.

It just takes a small, self-made step.
